Shed found antlers 2019-ongoing

Shed is a land art installation located within Yellowstone National Park on the private expanse of Silver Tip Ranch. Created over the course of four days, the work is composed of ninety years’ worth of antlers—shed or otherwise discarded—bound together solely by their own natural torque. No external fastenings hold them in place; the structure exists through the tension and balance inherent in the antlers themselves.

Begun in 2019, Shed is an ever-evolving installation, added to each year, shaped by both the passage of time and the shifting rhythms of the landscape.
